No, The Hotel is Closed during the Day and opens at 5pm

Can you get an Evening Meal at the Roy Bridge Hotel

Yes, Evening Meals are served daily between 17:00 till 21:00 pm.

Does the Hotel do Packed Lunches

Yes, we do, if your climbing the Ben, we stongly recommend that you take a Packed Lunch with you, as you will need sustainance and water throughout the Day, better to be prepared.

Is the Hotel Open to the Public...

Yes, the Bar &  Restaurant are open to the Public.

Hotel Opening Times

Summer Season = March to October

Breakfasts 8:00 to 9:00 am

Evening Meals 17:00 to 21:00 pm

Bar Times 17:00 to 22:00 pm

Winter Season = November to February

Check-In Time is Between 17:00 and 22:00 pm.. Check Out time is 10:00am (Summer Season)

Why are the Rooms so Expensive

Your Room Costs are broken down as follows,

1. Taxes =20%,

2. Commission to the "Online Travel Agent" that you booked the room with 20%

3. Card Commission, payment via a Business Credit Card as high as 5%.

4. The remaining 55% goes to the Hotel for Cleaning, Maintenance, Electric, Gas, Water, Staff Costs,

So, work it out, 45% of your Hotel Bill does NOT even go to the Hotel.

  • By Dealing Direct there is No 3rd Party to deal with, so if you need to Change Dates or Time of Arrival, then simply call us and its done.
  • Its Cheaper, as we do not have to Pay the OTA (Online Travel Agent) your commission, so we Pass those Savings on to you. Good eh!
  • Car Broken Down and you need help late at night, try calling your OTA for help.
  • Arriving unexpected in the Middle of the Night. Call us and we will make arrangements for you to collect you Key from our Key Safe, or you can call you OTA, wait ages to get through, if you can get through and then talk to an AI (Artificial Intelligence)

No, sorry, we no longer show Football or Sports on TV.

Does the Hotel have E.V. Charging Points.

Alas, at the moment No, Electric Vehicle Charging points are planned to be installed sometime in the Future.

Does the Hotel have Wet Clothes Drying Facilities

Sorry, Not at this Time.

Payments Policy

For Payment, we accept Gold, Cash (£), Visa, Mastercard, and Bank transfers.

All Rooms and Services booked must be Paid for in Full prior to Arrival as we do not have Credit Facilities.

Smoking Policy

There is NO Smoking and No Vaping allowed in any part of the Hotel. Guests who do not adhere to this condition will NOT be welcome in the Hotel.

.Child Policy

Children are welcome, however, they must leave the premises Bar/Restaurant/Cafe areas by 20:00hrs.

Dog Policy

Dogs are welcome in our Bar, provided they are not Moulting, and that they are Toilet Trained and Well Behaved.

We no longer accept Dogs in our bedrooms for overnight stays.

 

Damages to the Hotel

The Guest will be held responsible for any Damages caused to the Hotel by the Guest or any person in their Party. The owner of the Hotel will make an estimate of the cost to repair the damages that the Guest is due to Pay. By the Guest staying in the Hotel, it is understood that the Guest is in agreement with this condition.

Buses, Taxis &Trains

Information here should be verified, as times change for no reason.

Buses to Fort William normally leave Roy Bridge at 5 minutes past the Even Hour between 8:00 & 18:00 hrs.

Buses to Roy Bridge normally leave Fort William at 30 minutes past the Odd Hour between 7:30 & 17:30 hrs.

Trains:- Roy Bridge To Fort William 11:48, 15:50, 21:46 hrs. Travel Time approx 25 Mins.

Trains:- Fort William To Roy Bridge 07:44, 11:40, 17:37 hrs. Travel Time approx 25 Mins.

Car Parking

Car Parking is Free of Charge and is operated on a "First Come, First Parked" Basis.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pre-book parking spaces.

Only Vehicles up to the size of a Transit Van may use the Car Park.

Mobile Home Vans are not allowed in the Car Park and are not allowed to Park Overnight. All Vehicles are Parked at their owner's risk, the Roy Bridge Hotel will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or theft from any Vehicle.

Disabled Access

Disabled access to the Main Hotel is restricted to the Ground Floor where disabled persons can access the Bar, Restaurant, and Disabled Toilets. Also, our Courtyard and Riverside Lodges are Wheelchair & Disabled Friendly.

The main hotel bedrooms are located on the 1st & 2nd Floors and are not accessible via a wheelchair due to No Lift Facilities.

 

In-House Technology

The Hotel has High-Speed internet access with Wi-Fi available in all areas of the Hotel.

The Bedrooms offer USB Phone Charging Points and 40-inch Smart Flat Screen Televisions.

There is a Virtual Porter system being developed to offer guests an Information Portal.

Take-away food can be ordered on our Web Site for "Click & Collect" from your phone go to roybridgehotel.co.uk and select the Take-Away Option from the Menu.
